Reaction "Reaction" is the result of the hard work of Paul Tortora, John Bartolomei Jr. and Marc Julien, three local film students. They assembled some cash and set the wheels in motion to shoot their first short film in May of 2000. "It was an ambitious undertaking, considering we had little money and everything was to be shot at night." Says Tortora. The short was shot over five days using locations in Orlando and Winter Garden. "Tony's one stop shopping for camera rental gear was an enormous asset to us." Says Bartolomei Jr. The short is the story of a man who comes face-to-face with his conscience on the evening of a robbery. "We wanted a cool story, that had a meaning but wasn't preachy. I think we pulled it off, thanks to Tony's DP work and his awesome camera department" says Julien.. |

Alligator Alley Recently, the partners of NMN Entertainment, Inc. decided to develop a project called Alligator Alley that could be made on one of these shoestring budgets. Producer Brandon Moss challenged Director Britt Nichols and Screenwriter/Actor David Noroña, both graduates of the prestigious Carnegie-Mellon University, to create and script a story that would utilize all of the resources that the three of them had, yet still maintain expansive marketing potential. A trickier concept than it first appears, the NMN team ended up with a script that called for an impossible shooting schedule, required complicated camera technology, and demanded some precarious stunts for the underpaid performers. Undaunted, Nichols was determined to bring his vision to the screen, engaging several unusual allies along the way. Visit NMN Entertainment's website. |
